Some basic steps to get started would be to go to the Library tab on Blackboard and search for your topic in Eagles E-Search (the search field in the middle of the page) . After you click in the middle of the search box, enter your topic and then you will come to the page of search hits. There will be a check box on the left-hand side to limit your results to ONLY peer-reviewed articles (which are academic, appropriate for a college level paper) relating to your topic. If you need general information/overview on your topic, do a broad search without selecting peer-reviewed, which will include ebooks, magazine articles. newspapers, along with academic journal articles.
